Step 1 Let’s Chat – Give us a call

It all starts with a Discovery Call.

During this short phone call, we discuss the areas of your home you need help with and determine if we are a good fit to help you achieve your goals. We ask you about your planned project, timeline and budget.

A Stroke of Genius Interiors offers an array of Interior Design and Decorating services including Material Specifications (for new builds or renovations), Custom Soft Furnishings, Fabric, Wallpaper, Window Coverings, Furniture and Accessories.

Step 2 Let’s Meet – In-Home Design Consultation

After the Discovery Call it is time to meet in person.
During this 2-hour In-Home Consultation we review your project, walk through all the areas of your home you wish to address and together, develop a Scope of Work plan. We discuss your design and decorating style preferences and overall direction that you would like to go with your project. We review all areas pertinent to the project; space planning, paint & wallpaper, door & moulding package, furniture, drapery & decor, lighting, fixtures and finishes. We look at storage and mobility challenges and discuss the best way to update the space.

We also discuss budget during this phase to determine if everything on your wish list is doable. We provide you with key information that will allow you to either move forward with the project on your own, or move on to Step 3, where we will design and manage the project for you.

The In-Home Design Consultation is the foundation of the project.
Investment: $750 +GST.

Step 3 Let’s Get Started – Design Service

Now that we have established the Scope of Work, we can get started.

This is where A Stroke of Genius Interiors gets to work drawing up plans, selecting fabrics & finishes, fixtures and materials. When we have gathered up all the elements of the design, we are ready to present the Design Package to you.

Once you have agreed on the selections, we can provide you with a quote to move forward with your project. We take care of all the details – ordering of materials, arranging delivery, site supervision, shopping and installation.

Step 4 Let’s Do It – Executing the Plan

Barbara oversees the project from concept to completion, to ensure your vision is realized.

Since every project is unique in itself, timelines will vary depending on the Scope of Work.

We work within your budget to make your dreams a reality in a timeline that is realistic and efficient.
