I met Barbara on a telephone cold call while we were looking for some inspiration to do a small face lift of our living room. This was a project we had been putting off for a couple of years due to a total lack of ideas as to how to get started.
After talking to Barbara about our lack of sophistication in the area of interior design, and the tight budget we had imposed on ourselves, she explained her process to us and within minutes we were “a team”!
Barbara introduced us to some local tradespeople who exceeded our expectations re cost and reliability and I am sure she has a much deeper well to draw from for different and larger projects.
Besides being knowledgeable in her area, Barbara was also FUN to work with.
Our senses of humour clicked but did not distract from our objective of transforming a drab personal space into a feature of our home that we are proud to show off to friends and neighbors.
I believe Barbara went beyond the scope of the contract we had and made numerous visits to check on progress, fine tune the final product and not leave until she knew we were happy with the results of our collective efforts.
